Netscape Communicator. Download Netscape's Communicator. It is an easy to use browser with a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) Web Page Editor. If you are just starting out, you will find it relatively easy to use. Get the Official Netscape Composer book by Simpson. It is readable and tells you most everything you need to know to get off to a good start.

a beginniers guide to html. Even with a WYSIWYG editor, it is good to learn the basics of html (the programming language that web pages are built with). Here's a place to start.
