Single Pastor and His Family.

1) That as a single man, he would live with purity and integrity fleeing the evil desires of youth.

2 Tim 2:22 Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteoueness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

2) Pray for his Parents to support and encourage him in ministry.

3) Pray for God's blessing on his parents and family.

4) That as a single man away from his family, the Lord would take care of emotional needs (especially loneliness) and help him to build quality friendships.

5) That the Lord would prepare him and guide him to the one he is to marry if that is the Lord's will.

Prov 18:22 He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD.

Prov 19:14b "a prudent wife is from the LORD.

6) If it is the Lord's will for him to marry, that the Lord would provide a woman of "noble character" (Ruth 3:11, Prov. 31) who would enhance and multiply the effectiveness of his ministry; a suitable helper and that the Lord would prepare her for the challenges of such a ministry.

Married Pastor and his family.

1) That he will be a man of integrity and faithfulness particularly in regards to his marriage relationship.

2) That he will find the time he needs to devote time to his wife and children; that they will not be neglected in the stresses of ministry.

3) That he and his wife will model the biblical principles of marriage and set an example for other couples.

4) That their children will handle the pressures of being a PK, and will love and serve the Lord.

5) Pray for his wife and children by name and as specifically as you know how.
