MONDAY: HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD

1) That he would thirst after God.That he would long to spend time with God.
 

Psalm 42:1-2 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God. for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?

2) That he would be a mighty man of prayer.
 

Eph. 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

James 5:16 The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
 

Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Psalm 119:14-18  I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.

2 Tim 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
 

John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit
and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Psalm 100:1-5  Shout for Joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness: come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
