Hard Times Farms
"Hard Times, Hard Times, Come Again No More"
 State of the Art Facilities
Our barns might lean a little and have a few holes here and there, but we are just trying to keep the overhead low.  Besides the holes provide natural air conditioning-- all year round (very important during Minnesota winters).
Modern Equipment
Local mechanics love our quality machinery.  We keep them busy year round just repairing our tractors and machinery.  Where else can you find quality tractors like this John Deere 70 Diesel.
Top-Notch Management
Roy Syverson developed the "Hard Times Farms Strategy".  While others strive for money and success, Hard Times Farms seeks to create opportunities for difficulties, problems and crises.  Hard Times Farms seeks to make things as difficult as possible so as to develop crisis management skills.
Service with a Smile
These crisis management skills bring one to the ultimate state of "hard times enlightenment" when you can smile and sing a "Doncha Know" song while you work whatever the crisis of the day.
Pleasant Aroma
There's nothing quite like the fresh air one finds when you get out into the country.  At hard times farms we work hard to intensify that pleasant aroma for all of our neighbors and friends.
Tender Loving Care
Whatever the crisis, the difficulty, the hardship.... Hard Times Farms always brings a personal touch.  Taking the time to care....and to give a pig a scratch behind the ears is what Hard Times Farms is all about.
