I don't endorse everything that you find on these sites.  They are only some sites that I've found fun to visit. 

The Door.  The official site of Christianity's satire magazine...not for the faint of heart....in that sense kind of like the Playground.  Somehow it just doesn't seem to live up to it's past glory...but still worth checking out if you can handle satire.

Dr. Seuss Seussville.  My all time favorite author and greatest influence toward writing.

 Grant's Graceland  This is a great website with all kinds of fun stuff...a great place to waste....I mean spend... some time.

Today's Cartoon by Randy Glasbergen.  A whole site full of great cartoons.

The New Red Green Show.  Another one of those Public TV shows that kind of breaks the mold.  What is it about us who were born in the North that brings on the strange humor?

Laugh A Lot   Clean jokes every day.  Join their e-mail list.  This is a new site, but so far it has been great.
